Chartered accountancy examination is a three level based examination which conducted every year by the ICAI (The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) board. The first stage of the examination is earlier called the CPT (Common Proficiency Test) exam but the board changed its name to CA Foundation exam. This exam is a kind of entrance exam for CA and thus students or aspirants can appear for the exam after completing their +2. When thinking of preparing the examination in just 1.5 months that is almost 45 days, aspirants first prepare a processed time table which contains most of the time of studies. Time table must be prepared after having an eye on the course and the entire course at the Foundation level is divided into four subjects –

1. Principles and Practices of Accounting.

2. Business Laws and Business Correspondence and Reporting.

3. Business Mathematics and Logical Reasoning and Statistics.

4. Business Economics and Business and Commercial Knowledge.

 

Concentrate on Logic and Statistics

 

CA Foundation Math does not seem to be a topic that scores well for non-Maths students, it is advised that non-Maths commerce students concentrate on Statistics and Logical Reasoning. Twenty marks are allocated to logical thinking, and the remaining marks are equally split between math and statistics. The key areas of attention for non-math students should be statistics and logical reasoning.

 

Make your own notes

 

Nowadays students who scored first rank in CA examination sells their notes to many shops and thus the shops sells their notes and with this students who purchases that notes prepare it with toppers technique of studying. But students must prepare on their own techniques as if they topper also copied their notes with some other good ranker, he/she would not be able to top the examination. So concluding this, students must make and prepare their own notes.

 

The fourth tip is that aspirants must do at least 3-4 Revisions

 

The course is extensive, and before the tests you should review it at least three to four times. Plan your revision effectively by going over every topic in your first revision and marking any questions that are the same so that you don't waste time answering the same ones twice. Try to answer one question from each kind at the second revision and note any that you feel are difficult, crucial, or require one more revision. Read the concepts throughout your final and third or the fourth revisions, and only complete the questions you believe require one more review.
